OPPEIN Advances Sustainability with Green Factory and

Recognized among the 2024 Top 500 Asian Brands, OPPEIN continues to demonstrate leadership not only through product excellence but also through its dedication to sustainable manufacturing and eco-friendly living. This commitment is embodied in our state-of-the-art production facilities. In 2024 and 2025, the OPPEIN Qingyuan factory received prestigious Green Factory certifications from both the Guangdong Provincial Government and China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The Green Factory certification is awarded exclusively to companies excelling in land intensification, clean production, waste resource recovery, and low-carbon energy use, highlighting OPPEIN’s role as a pioneer in green manufacturing. This recognition reflects our ongoing efforts in process optimization and product innovation to ensure environmentally responsible production at every stage.

At the heart of OPPEIN’s sustainability strategy lies the "3R" principle: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

Reduce

OPPEIN actively minimizes its environmental impact by identifying climate risks and opportunities, optimizing energy consumption, and improving resource efficiency. A key initiative is our extensive Photovoltaic (PV) Projects, with a total installed capacity of 56.13 megawatts (including ongoing projects), generating over 41,000 megawatt-hours of clean electricity annually. This accounts for 11.39% of our clean energy use, saving 12,500 tons of standard coal and reducing approximately 27,400 tons of CO₂ emissions each year. 

Additionally, our Formaldehyde-Free Program sets an internal emission standard of just 0.02 mg/m³—surpassing international benchmarks such as China’s ENF, Japan’s F4-Star, and Europe’s E1 standards. Our green panels incorporate patented Nano-Active Purification Technology, achieving an 82.4% formaldehyde purification rate, earning the 2024–2025 Bronze A’ Design Award in the Furniture Accessories, Hardware, and Materials category.

Reuse

Sustainability extends through our supply chain, where we prioritize sourcing from FSC/FM-certified suppliers to protect virgin forests and promote sustainable forestry. We have enhanced packaging efficiency with intelligent stacking systems and reusable materials to ensure eco-friendly and secure delivery. Furthermore, we are replacing wooden pallets with durable steel pallets across our logistics network to reduce wood waste.

Recycle

OPPEIN has implemented advanced wastewater recycling systems in kitchen countertop production. Wastewater from processes such as waterjet cutting, edge milling, and polishing is collected, treated through sedimentation, and reused in manufacturing, extending the lifecycle of this vital resource.

Beyond our operational commitments, OPPEIN established a foundation in 2020 dedicated to ecological and environmental protection. The foundation has contributed approximately CNY 1 million to local government greening initiatives, reinforcing our commitment to building a sustainable future and enhancing local ecosystems.
