8 Kitchen design trend in 2019

As you can imagine, a kitchen remodels ideas can be perplexing as you may not know where to begin, or how to chart the best course of action. So before you set about planning the initial stages of a complete kitchen renovation, it’s essential to know exactly where to start, and how much of a budget you have to work with as a kitchen remodel is a costly investment that can pay off when reselling – if done well. Thinking of a new kitchen gets homeowners quite excited – especially if it’s well overdue. So let’s cut to the chase and get to the hottest kitchen trends for 2019 by a trusted kitchen cabinet manufacturer.

Here, OPPEIN will list the design trend of a kitchen cabinet, let's see.

1. Color design

Prefer to more color, not just pure white; or a combination of more than two colors. In 2019, the design is more inclined to matte dark series, such as black, green and blue.

2. Kitchen Finishes
Matte finishes will continue to be a predominant finish for kitchen fixtures, hardware accents, and even millwork profile details. Matte finishes feel fresh as a crisp accent color in light-colored kitchens, and they are a way to add some drama.

3. Cabinet design
The design of open cabinets or shelves is very popular, which throws away the old school form in minimalism. The open cabinet is more practical and convenient for daily use.

4. Countertop material
Though we’ve seen our fair share of various countertop materials come and go, the popularity of brilliant quartz finishes continues to have no end in sight as it remains one of our client’s most frequently requested materials, and for good reason.

5.   Detail design
The backsplashes are the bright spot in today’s kitchen design.
The following is the trend of kitchen materials in 2019:
a. Terrazzo surfaces
b. High contrasting marble
c. Subway tiles
d. Highly patterned tiles (Spanish & Moroccan)
e. Copper & Gold Accents
f. Concrete

6. Covered kitchen sinks
Great for cleverly adding more prep and counter space instantly, sliding covered sinks also boast the double-duty benefit of concealing a sink full of dishes waiting to be cleaned.

7. Digital technology appliances
Digital technology will continue to drive innovations and new pleasures in the kitchen, giving homeowners ever more specific home appliances targeted to their tastes.

8. Light design
Although recessed lights have been a staple in kitchen trends for at least the last decade and are likely here to stay, the re-introduction of suspended lighting has become an embraced quirk for those looking to add a unique touch to their kitchen design.
